Study options for international students

What you will learn to build
Explore the main areas of electronics taught across the department. Learn to model, design, program and test devices, progressing from your first circuits to complete engineering systems. Each degree programme places a different emphasis on these areas.
Electronic devices and integrated circuits
Discover how components become devices that measure signals, process information and control equipment. Design analogue and digital circuits, select components and simulate their behaviour. Build prototypes and test your ideas with professional measurement instruments.
Embedded systems and IoT
Create devices that collect sensor data and respond to their surroundings. Program microcontrollers, connect actuators and exchange data between devices. Combine electronics and software in applications ranging from smart sensors to remote monitoring and control.

2. Register in the Ukrainian Admission System
Create your electronic account on the official admission portal:
Select Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and your chosen educational programme.
3. Submit Your Application before 1 September
Complete your application, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee of 3,100 UAH.
4. Wait for the Educational Offer
Your documents will be reviewed. During this stage, your application status will change to "WAIT FOR THE EDUCATIONAL OFFER." Please be patient—the review process may take up to one month.
5. Accept the Educational Offer
Once you receive an educational offer, simply accept or decline it through your electronic account.
6. Document Verification
The university will verify your submitted documents. No further action is required from you at this stage.
7. Receive Your Official Invitation
After successful verification, you will receive an official invitation that enables you to apply for a Ukrainian student visa.

The department has student group programming microcontrollers Arduino (wireless telecommunications, encryption, protection of information from unauthorized access, robotics, industrial use), Laboratory of Melexis - leader of high-tech innovative analog-digital integrated circuits (sensors, the control circuit motors, RFID, wireless systems communications).
